What are the areas that will be renovated?
We’re excited to announce that exciting changes are on the horizon, as we gear up for a spectacular facelift. Picture sleek, modern enhancements that will elevate your experience to new heights. From vibrant aesthetics to enhanced facilities, every corner of ROAR Active Canning Vale is about to undergo a transformation that will leave you breathless. Get ready to be swept away by a wave of excitement as we unveil a refreshed space designed to inspire, invigorate, and ignite your passion for fitness like never before.

When will the renovations begin and end?
With renovations about to be in full swing, there is an estimated of 4 months works until completion date. *Please note that these dates are subject to change depending on various factors, but we will keep you updated throughout the process.

Will there be any disruptions to the carpark?
We will aim to keep disruptions to the carpark to an absolute minimum. Some bays will be required to be reserved for building works, these clearly denoted.

How will the renovations affect my daily routine?
While we will strive to minimise disruptions for our members, there may be temporary inconveniences such as noise, limited access to certain areas or changes in traffic flow. We will strive to schedule work during off peak hours to minimise disruption for our members.

Can I still work out whilst the Reno’s are happening?
Absolutely! We understand the importance of maintaining your fitness routine. We are committed to making sure that your fitness journey is not disrupted and that you have access to our facilities throughout this exciting renovation journey.

Will there be any changes to services or facilities?
We will make every effort to maintain essential services and facilities throughout the renovation process. However, there may be temporary closures or alterations to certain amenities. We will notify you in advance of any changes and provide alternative options whenever possible.

How can I stay informed about the progress of the renovations?
You can stay up to date with all things Canning Vale by visiting our Newsroom. We’ll be posting regular updates, photos, and videos of our renovation progress, so you can stay in the loop even if you can’t make it to the gym. Our Newsroom is accessible through our website, and we encourage you to check it out frequently to stay informed. Who can I contact if I have further questions or concerns?

Why is the physio room being renovated?
We’re renovating the physio room to create a more comfortable and functional space for our physiotherapy services. This upgrade will enhance the overall experience for our members seeking injury rehabilitation and prevention services.

What is happening with the Saunas?
Temporary saunas will be installed in the old sales office (starting Friday 10th) and will remain in use and operation here until July when we will unveil our new Recovery space.

Is there a new Recovery space coming?
There sure is! And it’s going to be chilly!

What about the toilets and changing rooms, are these getting upgraded too?
Of course, but a little further down the track. More details soon on these exciting changes coming your way.

What improvements can we expect to the gym’s top floor?
The upper gym floor is currently undergoing significant upgrades, aimed at enhancing the workout experience for our members. Specifically, we’re extending the squat racks to provide more space and functionality, installing additional mirrors to assist in perfecting technique, and planning new additions for our stretch space. Stay tuned for more details on the exciting changes coming to the Group Fitness Room in the coming months.

When will the stairway revamp take place?
The stairway revamp is scheduled to begin towards the end of May and may extend into the second week of June. The work will be carried out gradually during off-peak hours to minimise disruption to members.

How will the gym’s lighting upgrades affect my workouts?
The lighting upgrades in both the upstairs and downstairs gym areas aim to improve visibility and create a more energising atmosphere for workouts. These upgrades are set to enhance your overall gym experience. Get ready for something truly special in this space.

What changes will be made to the booth seating area?
The booth seating area will undergo remodelling to create a more inviting and social hub for members to relax and socialise.  Our newly created ‘Common Ground’ space will be like no other.

When will the turnstiles be installed, and how will they impact access to the gym?
The turnstile installation is tentatively scheduled for the first week of June. Once installed, the addition of the new turnstiles will help improve the overall flow for entry seeing us combat the current congestion and waiting times to gain entry for members.

Can I still access the Reception area during the renovations?
The main reception area revamp is scheduled for July and will require temporary adjustments to access points. We will provide clear signage and guidance to ensure minimal disruption to member services during this time. A temporary Reception space will be made accessible to our members during this time.
