Changeroom Upgrades
Following the successful transformation of the male changerooms, we ‘re now ready to start renovations of the female changerooms. To enable this next phase a changeroom switch will take place, with male and female changerooms swapping usage from Tuesday 17 February.
This project forms part of our broader facility transformation to ensure both changerooms meet the same standard of quality, safety and member experience. The switch allows renovation works to continue without delaying overall timelines or disrupting club operations.
New Group Fitness Room Opens
Our brand-new Group Fitness Room has opened at ROAR Bibra Lake, designed to elevate the way our community trains together. This new space is part of our ongoing club transformations and reflects our commitment to creating premium, purpose-built environments for every style of training.
This new Group Fitness Space features a world-class fit-out, spacious layout, modern finishes and a design that mirrors the look and feel of our newest training spaces. Designed to support a wide range of training styles, the space will provide a more open, functional environment for group fitness classes.
New Spin Room Opens
We’re redefining the indoor cycling experience with the launch of our brand-new Spin Room at ROAR Bibra Lake. Designed to merge fitness, energy and innovation, the space offers a ride like no other.
The new Spin Studio features tiered seating for full visibility, immersive lighting, and high-impact visual effects that transform every class into a cinematic fitness experience. Riders will also enjoy studio-quality acoustics, a powerful sound system and advanced air-conditioning for maximum comfort.
The Oasis Opens
More than just a space, The Oasis is a state of mind. Our brand-new Premium Recovery Space at ROAR Bibra Lake is a dedicated area that offers the perfect environment for rest, recovery and rejuvenation after a workouts or long day.
From hot saunas (traditional and infrared) to magnesium and vitamin C infused cold showers, ice baths and our signature snow room, The Oasis delivers a curated, full-spectrum recovery experience. This beautiful, thoughtfully designed environment is your escape from the daily grind, where recovery is no longer a luxury but a necessity.
Watson Gym Moved
Our Watson Performance Centre has made a temporary move into the long awaited brand-new Arena Space at ROAR Active Bibra Lake. Whilst this means a possible shift in your training routine, we promise… it’s going to be worth it!
This new interim Arena gym floor is now the new home for all Watson Strength gear and is located at the rear of ROAR Bar and Grill. Whilst this move is only temporary, we are certain you will love this open, well-lit space.
Upgraded Indoor Aquatics Area
We’re excited to unveil the newly renovated Indoor Aquatics and Recovery Area at ROAR Active Bibra Lake. This upgrade includes brand-new flooring around the Indoor Pool, Kids Pool and Spa, inside the male and female shower blocks and a new shower entrance, featuring refreshed tiling, a statement marble feature wall with ROAR’s iconic emblem and behind it, a new rain head shower to elevate the space.
Inside the Recovery Zone, the Sauna has been revitalised with restored timber seating, walls and ceiling, plus new flooring, while the Steam Room has undergone a complete transformation with new seating, flooring and tiled walls. Additional enhancements include upgraded wet deck grating for improved safety and freshly painted walls and ceiling.
This refresh ensures the entire aquatics area delivers a premium wellness experience aligned with ROAR Active’s ongoing facility transformation.
New Shower Block
We’re excited to announce that our brand-new Unisex Shower Block has officially opened, designed with parents and families in mind. It’s accessible via both the indoor and outdoor pool area, simply look for the sign “Family Change” or “Family Shower Block”.
New Gym Equipment
We’ve upgraded the Gym Floor at ROAR Active Bibra Lake with over 70 pieces of brand-new Realleader gym equipment, delivered directly from the USA. Including a mix of pin-loaded and plate-loaded machines designed to support strength training, muscle building and performance for all fitness levels.
From beginners to experienced lifters, the new machines provide smoother movement, improved biomechanics and greater training variety, helping members train safer, lift better and get stronger results. This latest upgrade reinforces ROAR as one of Perth’s most advanced gyms.
