Our carpark works resume this week with our line marking set to commence. On Tuesday, 28th January, line marking is set for the north side and then on Wednesday, 29th January, line marking will occur on the southern side.  Please continue to follow the directional signage.

More Good News: The upgrade work on our Change Rooms is finished! Our Change Rooms have returned to their usual setup—male members can use the Male Change Rooms, and our female members can use the Female Change Rooms. Our brand-new Shower Block will also be back in action as a unisex space designed for parents and families. We trust you will enjoy the first of many improvements still to come as part of our exciting renovation works.

Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to enhance your experience, and now it’s time for you to enjoy all the exciting improvements firsthand. Whether you’re unwinding after a workout, focusing on recovery, or just taking a refreshing dip, our upgraded Aquatic and Recovery spaces are here to help you recharge, relax, and feel your absolute best. NOW OPEN!

Our carpark has been resurfaced and now just awaits the line marking, scheduled for later in the month. More details on this coming your way soon and how this will impact your visit to the Club.

Our Aquatics work also continue into this week, which will hopefully see the team complete our renovation upgrades, fingers crossed! Please continue to refer to the directional signage located outside the male and female change rooms for clarification on our completion of works.

Exciting works continue this week to our Aquatics area.

Our male shower block has been completed and is now ready for use – but remember, for use by all our females members! All females will need to use the male changing rooms from today, Monday 23rd, until advised. The male shower block is also ready for use by our female members also.

For our male members, please continue to use the new shower block located outside near the Outdoor Pool. For change rooms and toilets, all males are able to make sure of the female change rooms in the interim.

Important Member Notice: Carpark Resurfacing from 7th January

Great news Bibra Lake Members! Commencing Tuesday, 7th January, our carpark will be getting resurfaced. While the works are in progress, parking will be restricted. Please follow the directional signage to assist you. To ensure you are still arriving on time for your class, we also kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to allow enough time to park your car.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to enhance our facilities for you to enjoy. All this and more is still to come!

We’re excited to announce that our brand-new shower block has officially opened, providing new facilities for our members! This marks the first phase of our commitment to enhancing your experience with upgraded amenities.

Now, we’re moving forward with the next phase: upgrading our existing change rooms. These upgrades include significant improvements to ensure long-term reliability and a better experience for everyone. During this period, we’ll:

• Install a brand-new gyprock ceiling for a fresh, modern look.
• Replace the aging copper water lines with durable PVC lines and isolation valves to address ongoing leaks and improve reliability.
• Extend the new flooring from the indoor pool area seamlessly into the shower zones, creating a cohesive and refreshed design.

The timeline for these upgrades is as follows:

• From 11th December 2024:
  • The male shower room in the existing change rooms will close for renovations. (change rooms will still be in use)
  • Males are encouraged to use the new shower block during this time.
• 23rd December 2024:
  • The male and female change rooms will switch over, and work will begin on the female shower block. (change rooms will still be in use)
  • Males should continue to use the new shower block, while females will temporarily use the updated male change room facilities.

These upgrades are designed to address existing issues and provide a reliable, modern space for all members. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to deliver these improvements.

We have an exciting announcement to make – Christmas really has come early for you Bibra Lake. Look out for our email update to you, you don’t want to miss this one!

For now, we can confirm that the wait is over! We’re excited to announce that Bibra Lake is kicking off a 3 stage upgrade plan to bring our BRAND NEW equipment to the gym floor! Over 70 pieces have arrived all the way from the USA, and we can’t wait to share them with you. From pin loaded to plate loaded, get ready to dive into our new playground!  

Here’s what you need to know 

Stage 1: Out with the Old, In with the New From Friday 22nd November – we’ll begin drip feeding some of the smaller new pieces of equipment on to the gym floor. This will be done very slowly and gradually across this week, with minimal impact to members. Please feel free to enjoy the gym without any disruption during this week.

GYM CLOSURE – Saturday 30th November (8am) to Sunday, 1st December (Midnight) we will begin the main transfer of equipment to the gym floor, which will require us to temporarily close the area over the weekend. During this time, you’ll still have full access to the Watsons Gym located at the entrance to the Bibra Lake Club, as well as access to our ROAR Active sister Clubs at Canning Vale, Cockburn and Jandakot. We want to let you know too, that while this initial setup will get the new equipment on the floor sooner, the design and layout you see in Stage 1 won’t be the final gym floor arrangement. This initial Stage 1 move will only see about 70% of our new equipment roll out.

We still have a Wall of Squat Racks, New Functional Training Zone, Dedicated Warm Up area, flooring, mirrors, lighting and much more to come in the following stages. We can assure you that by stage 3, our fresh design will optimise your workout flow, but with it being such a large operation, we need to roll it out in stages to minimise disruption! We’re working hard to give you early access to these upgrades, with additional adjustments coming in Stages 2 and 3. Stay tuned for more updates as we progress through each stage – and in the meantime, enjoy this first phase of our Bibra Lake renovation journey!

We have some big news! Our NEW equipment lands in port this week meaning are one step closer to delivering you with 70 pieces of the latest and newest equipment, all the way from the USA! We will have big trucks and containers landing in the rear carpark any day…from here, we need to build the equipment pieces before they will arrive on the gym floor over the coming month. Get excited Bibra Lake, the wait is almost over!

You might also notice our new Shower block is taking shape nicely. Check it out if you haven’t already poolside.

There are also some very big cement panels that are being installed over the coming week to the rear of RBG. We thank you for your patience as we get set to build something pretty amazing out there for your enjoyment. Remember, our venue remains open over the weekend for your enjoyment, plus during the week for inside bookings only.

This week sees a lot of work behind the scenes by our incredible Maintenance Team. Whilst there is not any scheduled disruptions planned to our valued members, why not take this opportunity to have a look at our new sample piece of equipment in the main entry foyer, you can’t miss it! This is only the beginning of what’s to come! Get excited Bibra Lake, this renovation is going to be HUGE and we cannot wait!

Works continue into this week with slab pours for our exciting new spaces taking place.

On Wednesday 25th, as we eagerly await our new gym floor revamp that’s coming soon!, we will see a temporary new sled track installed. Remember, this one is just a temporary replacement, just wait until you see the new black and white ROAR one we have ordered for our new space!  We anticipate to see these works carried out on the Wednesday only, with the sled track fully operational again from Thursday.

*Important Update: Carpark Reopening Delayed

Due to the wet weather conditions experienced this week, the completion of the carpark works will be delayed. The carpark is now expected to reopen next Friday, instead of the previously planned Monday. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these unexpected changes.

Our modified carpark works are almost over! We thank you for your patience over the past couple of weeks to see these works completed. Although the weather last week did put us back a week, the good news is we are on track to reopen this coming Friday. Until this time, the carpark will continue to remain restricted with alternate entry and exit points.

CARPARK WORKS : Important reminder for all our valued members:

Starting on Monday, 26^th August, temporary Parking Adjustments will be in place that will result in the following temporary changes.

• Commencing Monday, 26th August, several parking bays to the rear of the building will be restricted as we begin carpark works as part of our exciting building works. 
• Temporary fencing will be installed as we facilitate the trench work for the installation of the main services underground. Delivery of materials and machinery will commence this week, so please be mindful of these dedicated bays.
• Entry and exit to the main driveway will also be modified. Access to the front carpark will be via the entry driveway in front of Repco only and to the rear, via Broadmeadows Street (which runs off Geelong Court).
• The carpark area will have restricted access for approximately 14 days as we carry out these works.
• Due to the scope of the works, RFX Athletic members please also be aware that the side rollerdoor will no longer be operational for any upcoming WODs.

We understand this may be a temporary inconvenience to you, but we promise it’s all part of a bigger, better plan for your future enjoyment. Your patience and co-operation is appreciated as we work towards making our facilities even more amazing!

Our first project works begin around the Outdoor Pool area. You will notice the install of some temporary fencing, along with the astro turf being lifted to make way for our new Outdoor Shower Block. From now and over the coming weeks, this will mean that no sun lounges will be available on the astro turf area next to the frangipani tree. You will still be able to access the Outdoor Pool, as well as being able to make use of the Outdoor Shower.
