Join us Tuesday 19 May for ROAR Active Open Day.
At ROAR Active, we believe finding the right gym should feel exciting, not intimidating. That is exactly why we are inviting the wider community to join us for our upcoming Open Day on Tuesday 19 May, when our Bibra Lake, Canning Vale and Cockburn clubs will be open for everyone to explore free of charge.
This is more than a standard gym open day. For us, it is an opportunity to welcome new faces into our clubs, showcase what makes each location unique and give people south of the river a genuine feel for the ROAR Active experience. Whether you have been thinking about joining a gym, trying a class exploring Recovery Facilities or simply seeing what all the buzz is about, Open Day is designed to make that first visit easy.
Across all three clubs, visitors will be able to come in, look around and experience the atmosphere for themselves. We know that choosing a gym is not just about equipment or class timetables. It is about how a space feels, how it fits into your lifestyle and whether you can picture yourself returning consistently. Open Day gives people the chance to do exactly that without any pressure.
While entry to each club is free on the day, we are asking people to register their interest if they want to try a class or access selected facilities. That is because each club is offering something slightly different, and some experiences have limited availability. We want to make sure guests have the best possible visit and can secure a place in the sessions they are most interested in.
At ROAR Active Bibra Lake, Open Day will give visitors a broad snapshot of what this club offers. Guests will be able to check out the gym floor and register interest for experiences including Reformer Pilates, Spin, Pool access and the Indoor Recovery Zone. Bibra Lake is one of those clubs that really reflects the all-in-one ROAR Active approach, combining training, movement and recovery in the one location. On the day, there will also be extra touches including discounted smoothies and coffees from ROAR Bar and Grill, merch and Oasis sessions, helping create more of an event atmosphere rather than a simple walkthrough.
At ROAR Active Canning Vale, the focus will be slightly different, with a strong mix of training and recovery. Visitors will be able to explore the club and register interest for Reformer Pilates, Strength and Conditioning classes and Infrared Sauna/Snow Room sessions. We’re also including face painting for kids in the Creche, giving the day a welcoming, family-friendly feel and making it easier for local parents to stop by and see what the club is all about. For many people, fitness has to work around family, work and everyday life, so we wanted this location’s Open Day experience to feel practical, accessible and enjoyable.
At ROAR Active Cockburn, we are bringing together fitness, recovery and a few added extras that make the day feel fun and memorable. Alongside free club access, visitors can register interest for Reformer Pilates, Strength and Conditioning, Red Light Therapy and Spray Tans. We’re also adding lucky dips, family-friendly activities face painting for kids in the Creche, to make the atmosphere energetic and inclusive. This Open Day is about giving people a real sense of that from the moment they walk through the doors.
What makes this event special for us is that it reflects how we think about fitness more broadly. At ROAR Active, we know there is no single pathway that suits everyone. Some people are looking for a gym with premium equipment and motivating group classes. Others are focused on recovery, community or simply finding a club that feels welcoming enough to help them get started. Open Day is our way of showing that our clubs are designed to support different goals, preferences and stages of the fitness journey.
We also know that many people have been curious about ROAR Active for a while but just have not made it in yet. Maybe you have driven past one of our clubs, seen a class online or heard about our facilities from a friend. Open Day creates the perfect reason to step inside, ask questions, meet our team and get a proper feel for what we offer. It removes some of the hesitation that can come with trying somewhere new and replaces it with a more open, community-based experience.
For us, it is also a chance to celebrate the local communities around Bibra Lake, Canning Vale and Cockburn. These clubs are part of the daily rhythm of life south of the river, and we want Open Day to feel like an invitation to the broader community, not just existing members. Whether someone is ready to join, still comparing options or simply exploring what is available locally, they are welcome to come in and see what ROAR Active is all about.
There will also be exclusive sign-up incentives and prize draw opportunities available on the day, adding even more value for those who are thinking about taking the next step. But at its heart, this day is really about experience. We want people to walk away feeling inspired, informed and confident about what is possible when they find the right training environment.
Our ROAR Active Open Day takes place on Tuesday 19 May at Bibra Lake, Canning Vale and Cockburn. Entry is free, and everyone is welcome to visit. If you would like to try a class or selected facility, we encourage you to register your interest ahead of time so you do not miss out.
We cannot wait to welcome new and familiar faces into our clubs and share what makes each ROAR Active location different.
