We are excited to announce a significant upgrade to our main car park, commencing Tuesday, January 7th, 2025. The renovation will enhance accessibility and improve safety, ensuring a smoother experience for all visitors.

Project Overview

The car park resurfacing will be completed in four stages:

Stage 1: Repco Side (North Side)

• 7th January: Preparation work.
• 8th January: Asphalt surfacing.

Stage 2: Empire Furniture & Main Drive Side (South Side)

• 9th January: Preparation work.
• 10th January: Asphalt surfacing.

Temporary fencing will be installed to allow closures, and road closure and detour signs will direct traffic where required. At least two entrances will remain open at all times to minimize disruption:

• Entrance 1: Empire Furniture Main Drive.
• Entrance 2: Repco Side.
• Entrance 3: Broad Meadows Street side (open throughout the project).

Final Touches: Line Marking

Approximately 14 days after the asphalt is laid, line marking will be completed:

• 28th January: North Side (Repco).
• 29th January: South Side (Empire Furniture & Main Drive).

What to Expect

Visitors are encouraged to plan for slight changes during this time, as sections of the car park will be closed temporarily. Detour signage will ensure traffic flow is maintained with minimal impact.
