Wonder

(Ages 6 Months to Three Years)

The Wonder Program is the water familiarization component of the Swim and Survive program, and is designed for children aged 6- 36 months. In this program, a parent or carer accompanies the child into the water where they are taught a variety of skills including floating, breathing and movement. Wonder classes are a fun, challenging way to introduce your child to the water.

Courage

(3 – 5 Years)

Courage is the water confidence component of the Swim and Survive program and is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years. Courage works to develop the basic foundation skills in swimming, survival and water safety and encourages a positive and safe attitude towards being in and around the water. Courage uses fun and safe activities to gradually build upon breathing, floating and movement skills. Courage has 4 levels for children to progress through as they build confidence and develop new skills.

Active

(5 – 14 Years)

Active is the Swimming and Water Safety component of the Swim and Survive program and is designed for students aged 5 – 14 years. Active is used to emphasize the skills learnt in the program not only to save lives, but to provide a foundation for safe participation in a range of aquatic recreation, fitness and sporting activities. There are 2 developing awards and 7 core awards to progress through.

Adult Classes

 Whether you simply wish to improve your swimmingabilities, train for an event or take on swimming as acompletely new form of exercise- our group classescan cater for all.

Beginner:

MONDAY
11h50 to 12h20 (30min) & 19h15 to 19h45

Stroke Development:

MONDAY
18h30 to 19h15 (45min)

SQUADS

Squads introduces swimmers to training techniques and refines efficient competitive strokes to increase speed and stamina.

Skills/achievements covered;

• Refinement and advancement of competitive strokes
• Race preparation for each stroke
• Reading session sets
• Pace clock work
• Speed and racing
• Starts, turns and finishes

Private Programs

Private lessons are available for parents who wish give their child a more focused tuition in the water, for whatever reason. Sometimes this can be because of learning difficulties, distraction issues, or simply wanting 1 or 1 tuition until a particular skill is reached. Students will be assessed and taught within our Learn to Swim program model and progress through the stages like all swimmers, however lesson plans can be structured around the child’s own progression.
